The Rosalyn D Scholarship
The Rosalyn D Foundation provides scholarships to graduating seniors pursuing higher education. This scholarship supports students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a strong commitment to their community.
Who Can Apply

High school seniors

Attending YES Prep Southside Secondary (2026-2027)

Planning to attend a college, university, or trade school

Demonstrate academic effort and community involvement
Scholarship Requirements

Be a current high school senior
-
Maintain a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA

Complete at least 50 verified community service hours

Submit a 1–2 page essay (500–1000 words)

Complete and submit the application by the deadline

Students are encouraged to be reflective, specific, and authentic.
Scholarship Award
Selected students will receive a scholarship award ranging from $500 to $1,000.
Funds will be distributed directly to the recipient’s college, university, or trade school upon enrollment.
Award amounts may vary based on available funding and the number of selected recipients. Awards are contingent upon proof of graduation and enrollment in an accredited institution.
The Foundation reserves the right to verify enrollment and distribute funds directly to the institution.
